Experimental perfected
This 15 track 46 minute Lp released 2016 it was Danny browns 3rd studio LP.This project tackles many of Danny browns struggles in life including his substance abuse and growing up in Detroit. Tracks 4-6 being the main stand out with each track being nearly perfect creating one of the best 3 song sections in hip hop history. This Lp easily could be top 3 experimental hip hop LPs ever.
I'll give this Lp 91/100, truly a landmark for hip hop
honestly i was impressed by this album I definitely didn't expect to find something this good for a dollar at a thrift store. the first and last two tracks are the album's peaks for me.
This is just sorta basic country pop stuff, side A vs side B is a big difference. The drop in quality on side B of the album is tremendous.
Good production but the vocalist is just not able to finish it properly. I loved the production on ICARUS and the female vocalist on (The Way These Lives Go) sounded amazing sadly it wasn't just her on the track, genuinely me made that she cut off.
picked this vinyl up for a dollar and gave it a listen, while it was good the first half and the second half are night and day. The last half just doesn't really do much.
FAVS: (Be True To You, OI`55, Time Run Like A Freight Train)
WORST: (The Blues Keep Fallin` Like The Rain, Woman She was gentle)
