Not the cooking i was expecting. super people pleasy, repetitive, and boring. twas not serving what i was promised, and i nothing compared to With The Beatles, which is already adequate. even in the tracks i was somewhat familiar with like and I love her and im happy just to dance with you are just okay when you’re actually listening to them and not reels maxing on some beatles fan pages. hopefully more is to come from Beatles For Sale
i remember me and my cousin playing it takes two while this album came out. the fact that it was a surprise and that it was genuinely just ok was probably a large contributor to why ive never heard anyone speak of it again (except maybe sugar on my tongue). anyways we didnt even end up finishing it takes two, and i will probably start pestering her
back with another banger as per usual. you know what would really tie this album together? a rivers cuomo feature.
