Honestly Kensington made a huge jump with this project. Control had some serious issues with the production side of things (album sounded like drowned in reverb and overall too compressed and lacking top end) but this time it sound exactly like it should. Beautifully present vocals on this one. It also contains one of the strongest Kensington's song writing, like they left behind the more 'summer sounding' rock behind and gave us something much more mature. A very well produced record. Maybe there's no such thing as 'hit' song (I mean one that pops out) but most importantly it's an album that sells you an experience. Well thought with super smooth transitions from track to track. Illangelo is pretty much underappreciated in my opinion. He has one of the best tastes when it comes to sound design.
A record with hard to describe yet amazing atmosphere. It puts you in a different world. Beautiful harmony, strong, dramatic melodies. Minimalistic but powerful music.
