For a solo project i expected Maria to do something different than what "The Marias" would produce. Even tho i like it i'm kind of disappointed that it's not any different from the groups music. Hopefully she'll make a genre shift/try some new stuff for her next project instead of just putting a different name on the same label.
As a non swiftie, she managed to get me excited for the project due to the showgirl visuals it was promoted with, i expected a fun pop record with disco/musical features. This sadly didn't live up to my expectations. Instead she chose to release another mid-tempo pop record, fired Jack Anatoff just to let Max Martin reheat Jack's nacho's. I fear we will never get another reputation or 1989 from her. Disappointed.
I'm obsessed with this album + deluxe, Doja showcases so many different music styles and it still feels like a whole. My favourite doja album to date.
Such a great blend of genres and a new sound in rap/r&b. I love how the album has so many different vibes but it all goes so well together. I'd love to see her grow up to be a huge artist.
I love how Kendrick has his own flow. This album really showcases his uniqueness and talent. Great album but not my favourite from him!
