This guy needs to learn some portion control when it comes to how many songs are on each album like bro if this was just the best 13 songs from this album, oh my god my rating would be way higher but the filler is absolutely crazy, every song sounds pretty much the same. You would have to pay me hella money to listen to Chris Brown’s entire discography start to finish because it’s like one 40+ hour song. Got the basic starter pack when it comes to R&B albums, 1. An intense album that shows vulnerability whilst still maintaining a luscious soundscape, filled with many banger songs like “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love”. I am highly anticipating her upcoming album, petal
Basic-level songs which you can enjoy around your dad. Yeah it’s not anything crazy and it’s pretty base-level default rock that comes on the radio but eh, it’s not bad.
The chemistry between glaive and kurtains is insane. They both fit into each other’s approach seamlessly, that sometimes I couldn’t even tell which one’s which. A good album, short and sweet, but some songs could have done with a little bit more breathing room. Very good but I do hope for some change and shift because some of these songs sounded like they could have been off of glaive’s last album
A deep and strong album that doesn’t feel like a fake country album like some are sounding like nowadays, trying to ride on the wave. This is clearly a mostly-authentic and freethinking way piece of work that has some good highlights and quite a lot of middle of ground
Feels like a movie, where some parts are well executed and some that make you start to roll around and try to get comfortable
It’s not bad but this EP is a major step down from her last album, Lotus, for me. I am afraid that she might be in danger of turning into another basic female rapper like a lot of other artists are, which would be really unfortunate as for the longest time she has been very unique and always bringing something that no one else in that space could do. I don’t want her to turn into a London Latto or Sexyy Red is basically what I’m saying ๐ญ
A lot of thought and introspection put into this album, but if you are in for a good high octane vibe for a run or something, don’t listen to this. Many very good ideas and stories put into this album, and it does feel like he’s had a character ark in some ways. Dominic Fike delivers a great performance as he always does on CAMERAS, and SZA is also here if you’re a fan of her. It is quite long, but if you’re in a thoughtful and inquisitive mood, I suggest you listen to ... read more
I really enjoyed this remix album, bringing new cool beats and ideas with cool collabs that I was never expecting, like Zara Larsson + Robyn, Shakira, and Kehlani. Really cool. As I enjoyed the original album quite a lot (giving it an 85/100), this really couldn’t go wrong. And it didn’t. My favourite song is Hot & Sexy with Tyla. I’m liking this whole concept of “same album but with a twist” or like a “what if” concept that Charli xcx, ... read more
An interesting and refreshing listen that whilst not being too hard to digest, has new enough ideas to keep you engaged. A good way to make 38 minutes go by swimmingly. I am very much looking forward to her performance on SNL UK on May 16
Crazy how a twelve year old’s making this music it’s like Lil RT all over again
What I was expecting, with quite a lot of filler mid-range tracks that don’t do much but just repeat the same rhythm and tone as almost every other R&B song. Honestly I think this album was just put out so they could get more money out of the whole Folded frenzy, but there are a lot of other good quality songs on this album and I don’t even think Folded is the best one. I honestly think Cruise Control is the best. Yes, it was very comfortable and normal, safe music from Kehlani ... read more
Why couldn’t they put any energy into this production, like it’s so bland and runs so dry after 3 minutes
