Thank god ADÉLA didn’t get dragged down into the train wreck of KATSEYE and she can actually have artistic freedom because she is so talented and this cover of the widely-popular Into You by Ariana Grande is further proof of that.
DC The Don is an artist I need to look out for more in the future because on the whole this EP was really good and unlike anything most people are doing. He’s got his own unique and style carved out and I think I’ll be checking some of his other stuff out in the near future.
A heavily bloated, but yet a very Nine Vicious sort of album, showing that - in times of despair - he can just about pull off a genuinely great track (usually a 1 in 10 song ratio unfortunately)
A little bit better than expected, has some highlights like FLAMMABLE, VIOLET and the intro TOMATO/TOMÁTO (SAME DIFFERENCE), and he makes the hour go by quite swimmingly actually but apart from that it’s a fine, easy and a-bit-bland-at-times listen.
Why is everyone hating for no reason. Good beats, nice flows and ok lyrics. My favourite lyric is “imma live on like Anne Frank’s diary” like how do you even think of that π
A brave mix of really good and hype songs and some really lacklustre, dreary ones
RAYE is the best artist of our generation hands down. This is literally like a musical, with such an empowering message and incredible soundscape.
Many highlights across this concise and well thought-out album. Some songs just pack a punch more than others
I like the grittiness and texture to this song. Effortlessly better than 50% of the music on YE’s new album. End of the review
Gu y s…… whatssobadaboutit it’s a cutelittlelovesongalbum like everyotherjonasbrotherorrelatedalbum ………. oh yeah I see it now
Whilst it gets better throughout the album, Jack Harlow’s R&B venture is overall a letdown more than a triumph
Whilst it does wear out a bit in parts, beautiful sounds and melodic harmonies make this another one of Jame Blake’s phenomenal albums
