After the monumental impact that her 2024 album BRAT had on the world, Charli xcx decided to do something completely left field for her, going for a dive into a new never before seen instrumental, orchestral influenced sound from her. Wuthering Heights is perfect length, perfect amount of everything. Instrumentals on point, mixing, auto-tune, everything. And Sky Ferreira??! She’s as rare to hear from as Frank Ocean at this point. Very VERY good!
Doesn’t build on anything from the original song, but it doesn’t ruin the original song. I don’t feel that this JENNIE remix was needed, as I feel she doesn’t add much. A very good remix, but not as good as the original in my opinion.
This triumphant farewell album from J. Cole is a testament to the youth and his most dedicated fans. Many topics shine through on this double-project, such as lust, commitment, and racism. The more you listen, the better it gets. This album just even further cemented his legacy as one of the greatest rappers ever to exist, leaving at the top of his game like a true icon.
I’m not really sure to say about this. It kinda feels like an artwork of a blank canvas with many patches of coloured paper with random things on them put on in random places with scruffy outlines and glue spilling out, with the paper slowly coming off. Good moments like PIXELATED KISSES ๐ฅ๐ฅโผ๏ธ and Sojourn. Anyways now to The Fall-Off
After this won album of the year at the Grammys, I decided to check it out. And woah, it did not disappoint. It’s a typhoon of an album, shape shifting through cultures, sound and instruments. A long listen, yes, but a worth-while one? Certainly.
No matter what you throw at him, he’ll continue with even more strength than before ๐
Too many random things that don’t work together. Not exactly sure why this rated so high. Just my opinion though
Concise length, beautiful melodic performances and singing from Tems. Soulful, laid back production and each song having it’s own spice
An underwhelming EP from fakemink. Definitely some good parts but as a whole it’s a pretty repetitive project with good distortion but a lot of distraction in the songs that I don’t think are needed.
Wtf is this sci-fi ah 90s video game back to the future MTV boy-group corny robot awesome BNYX song that belongs in a box full of 90s memorabilia like the tape of a low-budget star-trek ripoff that this song belongs in ๐ญ
“DUM DIDDY DUM DIDDY DUM DIDDY DUM DUM DUM DIDDY DUM DIDDY DIDDY DIDDY DUM DUM DUM” ๐ฅ๐๐บ
DON TOLIVER IS BACK! This time with a more futuristic, trap-R&B album. Before I go on, I just need to applaud this production. Every album is amazing with production, and this is yet another one of those examples. Even though there’s 18 tracks, it truly flies by easily. Smooth transitions, smooth vocals make this a whirlwind of an album. Best I’ve heard so far in 2026. But I need to say Rendezvous with Yeat was very disappointing. I heard Yeat and I thought this was gonna be a ... read more
In general it just feels heavily forced and trying to turn back time 20 years and failing at the first hurdle. It was a fun experience and a new step, which I always admire from him and how he always reinvents himself (no matter how unsuccessful it is). But I think if he put a bit more time and thought into this and not just trying to appeal and come off as something he is not, this could be a little better.
Edit: 72-75
(I CAN’T STOP PLAYING IT)
Yeah it’s really just a little cool song, but for a lead single maybe I was expecting just a little bit more
