A surprisingly well put together debut. Everything that makes Metallica awesome is here, the only thing that Kill 'Em All lacks is the more refined and polished production that I've come to expect from Metallica's releases. The sound of this is a bit more rough, although I think it mostly works to the record's benefit, seeing as how this is one of the most fiery and hellish debuts I think I've ever heard. I also wish the track list was a bit more concise, seeing as how this thing is 50 minutes long but it feels more like an hour and twenty, but other than that I mean it's just Metallica doing their thing. Yeah, really loved it, just wish it was a bit shorter.
