It needs at least a month to sit with me before I really decide on a rating, but first impressions are great. The negatives first - it's a little generic (which is to be expected from him), there's 25 tracks which is a lot but I kind of like it in this case, and he's not really outside of his comfort zone too too much but again I give him a pass because what more could you ask for in a Zach Bryan album? - he's not some cutting edge country visionary, he's an American ... read more
I missed out on this one when it came out and I wish I hadn't. It sounds like untiljapan a little but some more rock elements. And call my attention span short but I like a 30 minute album, it lets me really focus on each track individually instead of over an hour long where it feels so daunting to go through another listen of the entire album.
Favorite tracks - The Sky, Phone Interlude, Power 4, 24/7, Sloppy Joe, Love Blur
Super nostalgic album for me I grew up on Switchfoot. Some of these songs I really don't like listening to them now but some of them bring me right back to my childhood - Needle and Haystack Life, Your Love Is a Song, Hello Hurricane, Always
Not bad at all. Going to be a solid outro track for his album
Another banger from joji! Someone on a youtube comment said it sounds like End of beginning and they're right
Bonus track is fine, the album cover is great it fits the vibe very well but the old cover makes more sense given the title and it also fits the vibe.
Not my kind of music at all but there’s some very forward thinking ideas here that were ahead of its time for 2012. I don’t see myself returning to the album at all but I mildly enjoyed it on first listen
I like When We Were Friends more than this but it's beautiful in its own way. Know Your Name is fantastic, so is Silhoutte and Close Your Eyes.
Can't pretend not to like Alex warren this song is always in the playlist
Fantastic album all the way through. If you like Kilby Girl at all check out the rest because it hits the same. Great lyrics, some of the guitar parts had me aggressively nodding my head for a few minutes straight. Also it's short you could probably listen to the whole thing in one class period or something so definitely worth listening
