I thought this album was pretty decent on first listen here. I haven’t been the biggest fan of Earl’s music since Solace. So I didn’t expect to be mind blown here, which I wasn’t. Habibti is Drake's first record of this 3 album trilogy shit he's trying to do. let's get some of the positives out of the way here first. Tracks 2 and 3 are fine. I actually like Slap The City, definitely my favorite from this album. Tracks 7-8 are also fine. Alright... negatives...

Rapping is just okay, the beat is fire. It kinda sounds like a blend of the ILDMLFY era mixed with the sound on Veteran a bit. I see why this single is getting some negative reactions at the moment. The combination of this not really being a new sound, mixed with how Peggy has been acting. I get it, people don’t like it. I genuinely have just no idea what to think. Like ive almost never thought this way about a single before ever. I can’t tell if Peggy is falling off or not either. I’m Just so confused. No rating for right now.
