Listened to this on Brad's livestream. Later read lyrics alone too. Basically I was expecting something so bad it's entertaining. This wasn't it. This was forgettable, boring and cringe. The music itself wasn't impressive, the vocals were weird and awkward, and the screaming wasnt impressive. More annoying.
Every song felt like a copy of other artists' songs, especially Hollywood Undead's and 3OH!3's. Well, at least it made me want to review Hollywood Undead albums.

Edit: I indeed had a migraine that day and it wasn't a good time to review this. This has grown on me a lot!
I'm sad to say that this album was a bit dissapointing. Maybe my opinion is somewhat mutated by the fact that some sounds cause me discomfort and/or migraine. And some of the songs totally were ruined for me because of that. I feel like the start of this album was much better than the rest, with some good songs thrown around there. Positive thing is, the songs sound like their names, ... read more
This album was pretty good. The middle songs on it were okay, compared to the last and first songs that were very good! I don't know I just didn't get the emotional connection to them and it was a struggle to focus on them.
+ 1 point because I love the album cover
My top 4 songs on this album were;
1. HARDCORE SYNDROME - THE MOVIE -
2. déjà vu
3. Third Time UNLucky
4. IZANA
And my least favorite song was: T+ VS SHARK

Positives: The structure is good and the song sends me a clear image. I love the delivery of the lyrics. I love the screaming! Very fun and catchy! Favorite part is definitely the end half of the song!
Negatives: There are some sounds that I am not so keen on, that are very usual in happycore songs.
Edit: I've grown fond of it. One of my favorite songs
Bless!
Fun and easy to listen to! I love the execution of the idea of having multiple genres in one song. Sometimes I lose focus though and the song seems to just fly by. But, I find the song super enjoyable and was and still is on my "on repeat" list on Spotify. I love Nanahira's vocals too!
Beautiful album, the sound can sometimes be a bit hurtful to the ears, but otherwise I like this a lot
Best songs were "Rolling Girl", "Two-Faced Lovers" and "World's end dancehall". Worst one was the closing song, "Prism Cube" as it didn't somehow feel fitting to the other songs
Edgy and makes me cringe, a bit ( I might be based, I was a FAN of these guys when I was 14 ). Actually okay songs were "Shut me up", "What do they Know" and "Prom". Worst ones were obviously "Stupid MF" and "2 Hookers And An 8 Ball".
Kinda fun for the brain, if it wasn't for the lyrics and these people being horrible ( not sure about Steve? and Kitty but Lyn-Z and Jimmy are horrible. )
I would this love this song -- if it wasn't for KIRA. Giga's parts are noticable since they are much better, and the lyrics and tuning don't sound awful. KIRA's rap verse in the middle of the song is the worst part and the drop/shift in tune that happens later in the song. I can say that KIRA's other parts, and the chorus part are surprisingly good!
This soundtrack fits the anime very well. It's highlights are the "Shiroi Oka", "Focus" and "Yume no Shima Shinen Kouen". The other tracks in my opinion arent as rememberable but still fit the mood and are subtle enough.
Shiroi Oka feels like drifting into a dream that is otherwise good and gentle, but something feels off. It is nicest track to listen even when you're not watching the anime.
Loved the anime and loved the soundtrack as well as it's own thing, ... read more
Listened this today on Brad Taste in Music's livestream and wanted to give this a review.
The album reminds me a lot of XiuXiu art wise. I think the music itself isn't something I'd usually like but as a piece of art I love it. It's disturbing with it's instruments and vocal delivery, and of course, lyrics. I would call this "inhorealismi" ( a genre that brings out the bad side of society and life, literal translation would be "disgust realism" ). Only thing I didn't enjoy, ... read more
