Honestly, not as bad as people say? Definitely not perfect (many of the instrumentals here can feel skeletal at times), but I do find myself really enjoying the more dance-based approach here, sounding like a more commercial take on the warm, hazy outsider house you might find on a label like 100% silk, and I find that this album is strongest when it leans into its dance aspect - Parker clearly knows his house music - but it falters when he attempts to focus on poppiness or songwriting and ... read more

It's hard for me to truly hate this album, given it's pretty obvious that a lot of love and effort was put into this project; something this ambitious can't just be chalked up to "nepo baby trying to get clout from rym/mu/aoty/whatever people". But at the same time, I can't get myself to like this album. Like, at all.
