While I love Since I left You, The Avalanches work following it has been solid but never particularly interesting to me however this track leaves me quite excited for their new album.
Aesthetically, they are leaning into a nostalgic, bright and heavily Y2K focused appearance that feels very in place with the 00s revivalism that has taken hold this decade. Going into this album I was a little apprehensive as a lot of classic "heavy metal" often doesn't work for me due to the theatrical vocals (I.e bands like rainbow). When the first song started I liked it but my fears did not dissipate as the track wasn't all too ambitious.

Continues the style of Dancing in your head but with shorter tracks. The mixing is a bit weird but there's still a lot of cool, creative ideas here
Really pretty like her other music but with a lot of added textures that give it its own identity. Too many interludes though
