Sam Burchfield - Me and My Religion
95

This is the perfect blend of country and folk, and Sam really delivered here! loved hearing some songs that I heard in concert when they were unreleased. Not a disappointing song on the album! Proud of Sam the music man. Hopefully this page will be flooded in the future!

Clairo - Charm
95

After a long wait, Clairo is back with her best production yet. This may be her best album. She experiments with different instrumental sounds, and each song has its own magic to it. This is a strong contender for album of the year. Great stuff!

Zach Bryan - The Great American Bar Scene
94

First full listen to an album of Zach's and I am not disappointed. Instantly loved every song on this album. 28 and Purple Gas are my initial favorites, and I loved the other features as well. The poem in the beginning was a nice introduction, and I enjoyed the album's gambling theme throughout it.

Lucky Daye - Algorithm
89

Great album here, very groovy and fun song selection. Loved the guitar instrumentation in a handful of the songs. The features from Teddy and Raye were beautiful. The only skip on this album was Think Different, but besides that, phenomenal album.

James Blake - Bad Cameo
86

This album is a dark melodic masterpiece in my mind, and it deserves hype. For what it is, it is wonderful, but I do prefer to at least have a few songs that I can always vibe to, which isn't the case here. Production is spot on but it needs an extra hit song to really send it over the top. Overall though, fantastic work of art from James and Yachty.

Omar Apollo - God Said No
83

As an omar fan, its always nice to hear new music, but this album doesn't quite hit like the rest. I enjoy the newer sounds and synths, but there's a lack of good vibey songs like usual. Still liked almost every song overall, so I'd still say it was a good album.

Wallows - Model
79

As a long-time Wallows fan, I was very excited for this album to come out. The four singles released before the album primed the album for success. I thought that this was pretty typical for a Wallows album, with melodies matching the production, and I was satisfied with it. I Wouldn’t Mind is my lowest-rated song to date, but heaters like Bad Dream and Only Ecstasy made up for it. Wallows fans will enjoy this one, but critics will likely slam it.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
95

This was the first project of Billie's that I fully listened to, and I am AMAZED! This album was so dynamic and beautiful. Every song is worth adding to so many different types of playlists. Will be listening to it on repeat.

Conan Gray - Found Heaven
88

WOW! when the singles first released, I was not a fan because it was so different for conan. I was skeptical about the album coming, but it surprised me! Not sure if you'd consider it a concept album, but I am loving the retro vibe. Got hints of MJ, Weeknd, even Tears for Fears. Thought this project was fantastic.
Favorites: Fainted Love, Alley Rose
Skips: Boys and Girls

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
87

this album was so much fun and angst. lyrics were shockingly descriptive at times but added so much to the songs. wish I had found this in 2023!

Favorites: red wine supernova, casual, California, pink pony club, kaleidoscope
skips: femininomenon

Edit 2026: not sure what I was on... this is good, but not THAT good. 87

Hozier - Unheard
85

Loved this EP! too sweet will become a classic, and I LOVE wildflower and barley. Such a cool vibe. empire now and fare well will also become some of my favorite songs. This also adds very nicely to unreal unearth (now unheard), which I am a huge fan of. great stuff!

Concrete Boys - It's Us Vol. 1
75

this is just a fun group collab and I'm loving the energy. some of the songs are legitimate heaters but others are just fun to listen to because they make me laugh lol. overall I really enjoyed the album, and I'm sure critics will slam it bc they just don't get the vibe

Future - WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU
72

Some more bangers on this album, but a lot of misses in my opinion. first disk was much better than the second, started off strong but shifted to old future, and not the good one. still a fan and will listen to some of these often

Future - WE DON'T TRUST YOU
80

Very solid album with a handful of hits. will be listening to the majority of these songs

Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine
86

I thought this album (especially the deluxe songs) was great! Been listening to ariana since she was on the radio in her early days, and I like the new level of maturity to her songs here. imperfect for you is my favorite here, and I'm glad she is back!

Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER
60

I really didn't love this... only one song was horrible, but none of the rest really sounded good. I added maybe one or two songs to my liked songs, but this feels like a huge miss to me.

J. Cole - Might Delete Later
82

Lot of replay value and cole just talking his stuff. always a good artist to listen to. the Kendrick diss at the end was pretty sick, a few other songs on the album were very good as well

Lizzy McAlpine - Older
87

Lizzy's vocals are the focal point of this one, the production is very light, a bit lighter than I had hoped. Still, a wonderful album that will keep being listened to.

Sam Burchfield - Graveyard Flower
96

highly underrated folk album!
