This one disintegrates me every single time. Perfect to feel stuff you didn't know you could. The atmosphere built throughout it throws you in the middle of the sea of sadness, and it's so beautiful you don't even mind drowning.

The Adults Are Talking was the first song from the 2020s I've heard, or at least the first I cared about. Early 2020, saturday morning, listening to the radio while having breakfast. Though this album isn't perfect, it's very nostalgic and tells a lot about the last pre-covid moments in music.

Rush - 2112

50 years ago today, Rush released a prog rock masterpiece and, in my opinion, the best album in their discography. The 20-minute long title track goes by in the blink of an eye and features a science fiction narrative about music in a dystopian future. The way that story is told is melodically and lyrically fascinating, with brilliant contributions of Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart, who are all geniuses on their instruments. Geese - Getting Killed

Getting Killed is easily the best release of 2025. There's a lot going on, but still everything sounds just right. Cameron Winter sings his dylanesque verses with passion and despair, and his composition is full of honesty and humanity. The ability to express those feelings so clearly and intensely at such a young age is the reason why Geese has already written their names among the greatest rock acts of the 2020s.
