Wow. Throughout Weezer (the album), my mouth has been wide open. I went into this album expecting cliché alt-rock performances, corny lyrics, and a boring listen. Yet with every song that passes by, I am just shocked by how much starpower and memorability these ten songs have. Weezer (the band) is kind of a laughing stock in the music reviewing culture, but I can safely say that Weezer (the album) is amazing and, most importantly, fun to listen to.
The melodramatic Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers. This album brews an atmosphere similar to the spectrum of colors in its album cover; it's chilling and dark while also having this burning red passion in each hum and speak. It strings all the tracks together smoothly and doesn’t seem to have any song lacking quality in relation to the others. Overall, this album holds itself tight, with no weak links or tedious moments. I would like to applaud Phoebe’s amazing songwriting.

THE WORLD'S GREATEST BOYBAND! SATURATION totally clicked for me. Every song is so different from the last—you'll never know what song you're gonna be listening to next. From the grittiness of HEAT and BUMP to the hype of GOLD and CASH to the soulfulness of FACE and WASTE, this album is airtight with NO MISSES (excluding skits).
Combining one of the best hip-hop producers and one of the best lyricists out there, Madvillainy is the magnum opus of abstract hip-hop. This album contains some of the slickest, most witty, and most unique bars ever made. Even though it does feel like some of the skits and instrumentals drag on, it's more than compensated by Madlib's masterful beat production.
