drop this man in 1985 with an mtv live performance and he'd probably known as one of the greatest voices in soul history.
got this recommended to me on here i didn't even know you could do that.. will come back when im done
update- finished and honestly pretty solid, beats are super good, vocals and lyrics a lil rough but def not bad.
I've been saying that UK music is some of if not the best out currently, and this only helps that case.
mike's part was a consistent but not super high half, while earl had high highs and a few lower lows.
certainly isn't "fat juicy and wet" but i guess i'll take a smooth sounding album from one of my favorite vocalists instead
album feels incredibly dated, but at the same time still has some charm. lowkey poetic for this to be the "fall off"
ok i thought i was bugging because a lot of these songs are really short, but they sound really good so fairs
Half-way through the album I have a feeling this is going to be my first 90+ rated album this year.
Update: I finished and I was so right.
