Jordan Ward has always been sonically great, and while the production isn't as fun or upbeat as his other stuff, this is super enjoyable and the writing is very solid
big fan of the slower don as a whole, but some of these songs didn't really have anything going for them. Also personally wasn't a fan of the rock yo body flip but fairs.
This is the greatest thing I've ever heard, dare I even say... Album of the !!
Thank you Femcels, my life is changed forever
hey we have the same name kinda !
this is just okay tho, first time hearing a tape in full from him, people told me he wasn't that good, but he's pretty decent overall. No real "misses" but a lot of same-sounding songs and for 22 its hard to get behind that. Some really good songs tho
Is it bad? I wouldn't say so. Is it good? I guess. There isn't much to be said because it isn't much talk about. 10 songs that ultimately feel the same as most RnB out currently. Very polished and professional sounding, lacking creativity and the "soul" that RnB should have overall.
the experience of listening to Tragic Magic is more enjoyable than the actual listen in itself, the music brings a vibe that takes you into a space where you can essentially live in it. But as you actually listen there isn't anything extraordinary. Overall very good regardless
for what it's worth, the wait didn't make this album a drag because it wasn't perfect on all boards. It's fun, no doubt, but at some points songs get kinda "stuck" in first gear without developing and fleshing out to it's full idea. Pretty fun regardless
