i definitely enjoyed the first half more sonically but the second half is very interesting lyrically too. overall it’s a great debut album and i’m sure it’ll grow on me just like Punisher did. i didn’t really understand ‘Smoke Signals (Reprise)’ as the album closer though.

impressive. Tidal is truly one of the best debut albums i’ve ever heard, it’s so beautifully written and insanely produced i’m a bit overwhelmed after finishing it. though the first half is definitely my favorite, the entire project is amazingly done. also the cover art is simply stunning.

i expected this to be better than So Good so i’m a little disappointed, though this is not a bad album at all. i found it interesting production-wise so i can see it growing on me in the future. we’ll see.

i wouldn’t say So Good lives up to its name but it’s okay. this album is way too 2017 so some songs naturally feel outdated but the majority is still enjoyable with some very nice moments, mostly at the end.
