This album is such an amazing example of how genuinely talented this guy is. Demarco's voice is amazing, the sounds are great, instrumentals were nice and calming, like laying down alone during a beach sunset. Another one was my favorite song, by far. Extremely great album despite it's short length and scarce amount of songs, genuine commendable talent from this guy.
Really great album, I like the metaphors throughout the album that suggest becoming like your parents, aging, and settling down. Very melancholic and soothing music, the usage of sounds on some of these songs is genuinely phenomenal. Moonlight on the river was for sure my favorite song, would 100% recommend this album, absolutely fantastic songs.
Very pleasant album that was extremely great to listen to. Very somber but great!! Even when everything gets lackluster and relatively quiet and simple it uses that in a really nice way that contrasts EXTREMELY well with the softness of Alex's voice across all the songs on here. Trash was without a doubt my favorite song on here, 100%. Would HIGHLY recommend this if you want to get into old Alex G!!
I don't know WHAT else I could say besides that this album is utterly, absolutely, undeniably phenomenal and beautiful. There is not a single bad track, the melancholic energy is great, the instrumentals are soft and calming and Mac's voice is absolutely fucking AMAZING. Would highly recommend this, great introduction to this artist.
