If shoegaze and J-pop had a mysterious child raised in the liminal space between soundscapes, it would be Blank by ・・・・・・・・・ (Dots). The album is an otherworldly experience, with its lush production and layered harmonies transporting listeners to a dreamy realm. It’s as if My Bloody Valentine’s wall-of-sound production met the sparkling melodies of Japanese pop, resulting in an album that feels equally nostalgic and futuristic.

This is a low-quality, clumsy and strange record, but at the same time a unusually attractive shoegaze. Here they mixed the structure of Japanese pop rock with shoegaze and noise, add electronics to it. At the end of the song "Feels like a soda float" brass instruments appeared. I don't think they implemented all these solutions correctly, but it really sounds very unusual. I think I'll come back to this record later and see my reaction
