An idol group hailing from japan, dotstokyo delivered a somewhat derivate but solid shoegaze LP with points. The album is often very inconsistent sonically and does not care much for any thematic cohesion, going from fuzzy shoegaze to jrock to fuzzy jpop to ... electronic sweet trip esque tracks. None of this necessarily detracts from the overall quality of the record but at the same time does not give the band the opportunity to shine at what they do best. Very cute vibes, nice atmosphere and very catchy melodies, very varied too, it reminded me of time n place, pleasantly surprised of this :)

I may have gone deaf from "Yolo no Taki." If I start listening to Queen, that will be the reason.
