Modulate

After a 4 year hiatus, Mould would release his 5th solo LP. I admire an artists trying new things and experimenting and even understand why he felt the need to do so here, but that doesn't change the fact that this is not a good album by any stretch. Wanting to grow and change is fine, but the electronic direction here comes across largely as Mould tinkering with sounds rather than composing fully realized songs.
