this album sounds like it hates you and itself at the same time

Not a big fan of emo, but this one does it for me. Combining the feedback utilization of The Jesus and Mary Chain, slackerness of Duster and both raw punk and emo attitudes, the New Zealand band P.H.F. created a record of abundant of sadness, desperation, self-loathing and misanthropy. Nothing short of a job well done from the Auckland band. Still can't figure out if the cover is a mutilated dog carcass or not.
