So I recently saw Arlie in concert and this was the first project of his I listened to and what made me fully decide I wanted to go without hearing ANYTHING else. This was a super creative and amazing listen. I was really impressed even after my first listen and was surprised it didn't score like an 8.5, but maybe I shoulda given Barcelona Boots a 9. My new favorite EP. Such lush production with nonstop catchy songs and sounds like a fully fleshed out idea unlike most EPs. Song ideas, singing, and lyricism is also surprisingly consistent and clever. Cannot praise it enough.
Best Song: didya think
Worst Song: too long
"Wait" is able to stand out from its trite contemporaries in the modern psych pop-rock genre. I think the main standout is "didya think" but it's still worth just 22 minutes of your time.
