kinda overhated actually, it may be beacuse I'm listening to their discography backwards, but imo this wasn't nearly as bad as some people say it is
I respect Testament for experimenting, but it is quite a weird choice to replace their vocalist with Cookie Monster tho...
Ok if being serious, this album is definitely their weakest. But I wouldn't call it bad, just flawed. It does have some big issues, mainly the songwriting and the vocals. Chuck Billy just doesn't sound convincing with such growling vocals at all, and indeed kinda sounds like Cookie Monster doing groove metal.
