a lot of fun. Yves really knows how to make a fantastic melody. all of her hooks are so insanely catchy and her electronic sound and production gives it some very necessary spunk that makes everything feel much more alive and fresh. i would love to see a full length album with a more fleshed out concept but this is a really cool EP. i hope this expands out of the kpop sphere because this is some really interesting stuff.

In “Soft Error” it is very clear that Yves is only going to get better, specifically in the second half where she seems to experiment with her style and take a little bit more risks (still pretty safe-sounding but not generic like the previous EP) this record still has some misses but it is mostly good and overall a pretty decent evolution in Yves’s career.
