This theme is getting a bit tiresome and feels more cash grabby each time people outside of Japan do it.

"Oni" starts typically but with decent downtempo chugs, the pacing is nice with consistent punchy drums, the vocals are quite brutal as to be expected. The atmosphere is decent, but overall this feels like a whole lot more of the same from them.

I don’t really get the Japanese aesthetic. It just seems like it’s there for the sake of it. The music is mostly just about as standard deathcore as you could get. There are some more ambient and atmospheric elements give the tracks a little bit of uniqueness. Obviously the thing that really sets this band apart, and the only reason any knows about them, is the vocals. These are legitimately like, top 5 most extreme metal vocals of all time.
