I won't entertain objectivity. I won't entertain the avant-garde and their cynicisms. I won't entertain the mainstream and their perpetual boredom tropes. This is the greatest album of all time because it was the only album that spoke to me when I was fifteen years old.

On some beautiful lo-fi production from VIK
Maxo just pours his heart out, pure depressive and dark thoughts, takes you in a trip of misery through every messed up part of his life, has some amazing one-liners that are sadly so relatable. All of that lead to "After Hours" being the best EP I've ever heard

This feels like an amazing EP for when you are depressed, or late at night and in that certain mood, and will definitely revisit in that state, but as is, this EP is great, at some points the instrumentals and cloudy performances dont do enough to have this be a 90/100 but its right there, with some great production that influence the likes of Navy Blue, its no wonder why this EP is regarded so well. Favourite is Shot of Regret

No west coast primary is silly he's born and raised in Cali and this sound was very specific to the RAWSHIT label which was a west coast scene!! not to mention lo-fi hip-hop was largely innovated on the west with wonk and idm involvement
