WAIT, I'M HERE TOO!!!

Soen were ProgMetal,
...and that was possibly the best thing... but not the only one!

But certain sensations are ineffable, certain works are almost intangible in a journey that must be evaluated in its maturity.
A journey that reminds me of Tesseract, who began with a sharp Progressive and landed on the shores of a linear yet refined Alternative.

Perhaps this is precisely where 'Reliance' finds its essence.

I'd honestly believe you if you said this album was AI-generated. I think it's mainly because of the vocals, they're annoyingly bland and irritating. It sucks to say all of this, as Martin Lopez might be my favorite drummer of all time. I've never gotten into Soen, and this album did anything but help the cause.

That album cover is giving The Last of Us at home vibes and the title is some shit like "The Quite Few of Us."

Faixas Favoritas: Primal; Vellichor; Indifferent.

I was! But not because it was blatant TOOL worship, just because it was ass.

The vocals are the main culprit for this, they just sound so modern and overproduced. I messed around with Suno AI when it first gained popularity, and this album sounds like something ... read more

This album was my first experience with Soen, and after hearing this, I absolutely wanna hear more of their stuff. Because this album is just an absolute banger.
