Some tracks really resonated with me, while others left me mostly indifferent, which makes the album feel uneven overall. That said, Keni Titus’ voice is genuinely touching — full of fragility and rich in texture — and it does a lot of the emotional heavy lifting. I personally would have liked to hear more than just acoustic arrangements, but that’s a matter of taste. Overall, it’s a solid project that definitely deserves a listen.
keni titus sadly doesn't show more than the indie pop clichés on her debut, it's produced quite nicely and she def has a good voice even if she forces that same indie accent everyone has been doing for years but not a single song of hers seems to have any personality, nor even a strong chorus it's just all kind of there, it comes and goes without leaving much of a sensation on your body, still i could see her making some pretty good music eventually...this is def way too ... read more
I came here by a recommendation, and unfortunately, it turned out that I'm not a big fan of these types of female voices or this type of albums. I hear the lyrics, I understand what the song is about, and it's nice to know that I agree with the artist in some ways. But it feels like something is completely missing.
