Overall, Enemy boasts the features long-time fans will be happy to hear again. Still, if they could take a bit more time on their next project, they could craft another tight album from start to finish.
I also wouldn't blame Sascha for needing a break either. 23 studio album is a lot no matter what. Still love them never ever breaking the artwork theme.
The title track begins the record, a pleasant sunny guitar riff as it builds, the bass synths start rumble under the surface. goofy as hell, for better and worse. that's the nicest way for me to say that it's a fucking mess.
has a decently promising start with some genuine bangers sprinkled throughout, like Gun Quarter Sue, Letat, and Outernational Intervention, but all promise is dashed with some of their corniest material to date. Tracks like Vamyr, A-Okay, Catch and Kill, and ESPECIALLY the original-ruining sequel Stray Bullet 2 which showcases nostalgiabait in its worst forms. It ultimately evens out to a half score. (5/10)
