Some of the most vile and brutal music out of the 80’s. I love how greatly this album combines thrash and grind making an album that sounds like Slayer if they were Grindcore

Ow my ears.

Yeah NOT a fan of grindcore at all. This shit is way too grating to my ears. No thanks.

Repulsion is one of those ancient acts that pioneered playing music like this to live audiences. The energy was chaotic, dark, but not gloomy. There is a lot of energy, speed, and aggression packed into these licks. It's more technical than hardcore, but not as melodic as thrash.

I'm repulsed and horrified by that bass holy shit. But the record is heat, tho

An absolute old classic. Essentially an album we have to thank for the grindcore genre itself. It definitely shows it's age, but even still it really rips. High energy throughout and even though the production is obviously very old-school, it really adds to that grimy charm.
