So much less experimental and adventurous than the previous album. It's formulaic, and it sounds more dated than its predecessor. I hope KF comes back in full to make another album soon.

While I prefer New Age Dark Age, Body Rush delves into a different sound from the first record, mainly focusing around the House genre. Who Do You Want to Be is my favorite track on here, but I can't not mention Colorblind. If you were following the release of this album like I did, then you may remember Karma Fields had posted a number you could call in. If you called it then Colorblind would play. That was truly a special moment.

Most of this project is a mix of prog/electro house and trip hop, with a couple of tracks (4 & 12) that have a heavier industrial influence. A darkly mysterious and alluring theme is present throughout, with catchy progressions and R&B-esque vocal features completing the vibe.
This is very consistent in quality, to the point I had trouble drawing a line on which songs I considered a favorite. The only one I would consider somewhat weak is 'Slow it Down (Pt. 2)' which is a bit ... read more
