"Technodon" is as lacking as one can be, with basic arrangements, gray compositions, uninspired vocals and non-existing creativity. It's like a 90s updated version of their sound, it could have been super new at the time but it's kinda outdated now, not sounding as futuristic as their 70s / 80s albums, great listen nevertheless.

"was this album needed?" -yes.
they've been playing music for almost 50 years and somehow never had a major flop. even if this is my least favorite from them, that doesn't mean it's a bad record, especially after the break they had in the late 80s.
you may enjoy it, or you may not. it's only your taste.
i'm so glad that it finally got released on Spotify.
