While this trip might not be as expansive as tthe Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld, it does reach similar peaks in a more effective manner. It's more concentrated, and while i do believe their debut does hold up to this day, it does have a dated quality that aren't as apparent on here.

Oh boy I wasn’t the biggest fan of this record, The Orb are legends but not with this album. The title track is very good and some other tracks were solid but it’s like this is what gets hyped up!? Yes I know adventures beyond the ultraworld exists and it’s most likely better than this but man I left disappointed with this album, still checking out other stuff from The Orb so don’t worry I’ll find something of there’s that I’ll love. I didn't enjoy this album as much as Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld, but it's still a solid followup. Most of the ideas here are great, but every once in a while some elements can get just a tiny bit grating for me. Largely in the opening track after the ambient section ends and the big synth comes in
