Extremely inconsistent but man some of the tracks off of the Artificial Intelligence compilation feel like they take some sort of inspiration from this album. Biosphere shows off his creativity with this album, very good ambient techno cuts but the actual ambient tracks are just average to me except for Cloudwalker li that was pretty good. A very huge landmark for ambient techno though.

While techno music is rooted deep in the 80's, it was the 90's when the genre really started to take shape. Biosphere's debut effort 'Microgravity' may not be the best example of 90's electronic music, but it's still a very solid one. Whether it'd be the rock-steady rhythm of 'The Fairy Tale' or the entrancing synths of the self-titled track, the norwegian musician successfully lays down the groundwork for a very healthy career to come.
