ok why does it feel more fun to listen to than their previous one? i generally prefer more guitar-based sound, but this album unexpectedly clicked with me (just a little bit). also gotta admit, the cover art is class.
Going further than songs like 'polyfusion' and 'Filter Dub' from the debut album, the band has abandoned a bit of the shoegaze sound and is journeying into a slightly deeper and darker place. Some people may be disappointed, but this is an ambient dub album that is just as good as their debut album.
I wish I enjoyed this album as much as Quique. Unfortunately there is one track that ruins the entire album for me: "EXTRACT". The synth sample is atrocious and the beat does absolutely nothing for an entire 7 minutes. To make things worse, it is at the very beginning of the album and obstructs some of the stronger tracks that follow after it.
Worst track: Extract
Best track: Fracture
