the only moment i actually remember from this WHOLE ALBUM is the outro to "wavy maze" because it has a breakdown and they switch over to more of an extreme vocal style. it was nice. everything else just immediately left my head.
another kickass addition to my "math rock that's not quite math rock" folder. reminded me of floatie but less jangle pop and more twinkle. very spacey and airy which i don't encounter often in math rock.
when the critic score is perfect and the user score is below 70 you know you're in for.... well, something.

judging by the cover art i thought it would lean more towards industrial, kinda like a pop. 1280 offshoot. not really; instead it's a sturdy noise rock album with some garage rock and post-hardcore undertones. maybe too straightforward to be outstanding, but a good listen regardless. props for having a 9-minute track, i appreciate those.
