Their sound on this album gets pretty stale pretty quick. It's cool at first, but there's nothing really happening in the songs overall. I'd definitely like to see them try and put some flavor in their sound or at least do something interesting. Animals As Leaders and Polyphia are doing this much better.
I love progressive sci-fi metalcore albums when they’re done right. Even though some tracks can pass by a bit unnoticed, they don’t take away from the narrative. The album has dark and epic moments, almost like a cosmic horror movie.
