This is the first bluegrass album I’ve ever listened to fully, and I certainly think I picked a good one. My favorite aspect of the album, the riffs, are amazingly authentic and catchy throughout, constantly showcasing Billy’s insane technical prowess throughout the project. It is relatively front loaded and has its low points, but provides a great listen regardless.

This is probably the peak of music for the current wave of corporate hippies, the ones who connect with nature by taking their Mastercraft out on Lake Minnetonka, those who escape their wealthy suburban upbringing by buying a $300,000 van and drive to Joshua Tree to buy some turquoise, then maybe paying $500 more to see Dead & Company at the Sphere. Billy demonstrates why he is a master in his craft. Great album that showcases his technical talents and some good song writing as well.
