Keep Going is Mike Posner's second album this year. His first album this year "A Real Good Kid" is a fav of mine. Tracks like "Drip" and "Perfect" are some of his best songs. This main highlight from that album is "Song About You" which is a modern masterpiece. It's infinitely listenable and memorable. So, I was really confused when I saw this on the upcoming releases page.

‘Keep Going’ is a half-baked, under-produced, under-written and incoherent album that lacks the ethos of Posner himself.
not as consistent or as impactful as his previous material, but some of these tracks are pretty damn solid

I really want to love this because I used to listen to his podcast and I really think he is a good artist, but this is not it.
The idea and concept behind it is amazing, even the cover and the instrumentals, but the worst part is Mike himself. His lyrics and delivery makes me cringe sometimes and that ruins the whole experience, almost like this is deep fake.
Nothing represents this point like the Wiz Khalifa feature. He BODIES Mike's part and makes it sound ridiculous.
