What truly stands out musically on this EP is the title track and its infamous bassline which immediately propelled it to the rank of hardcore classic.
This version of Six Pack feels a lot less satirical but a bit sludgier and nastier than the Damaged version of the song. I wouldn't say it's better but I would never say it's worse either, I'm very happy it exists
As for the other two songs, I've Heard It Before isn't anything special but it's not too amazing for this era of Black flag. American Waste is pretty great though, definitely deserves more light.
