A surprisingly good album. I wasn't expecting to be impressed too much with this project after seeing how little attention Touchline has actually gotten, but I ended up being quite surprised. Despite some obvious flaws, this is actually a pretty good hip-hop record.

It's always exciting hearing a solid project from an artist who is still at the inception of their career. Touchline comes through with a project that is surprisingly mature and heartfelt. The influence of Kendrick is obvious here but what's impressive is just how well he is able to add his own character to the sound.
