Now, I have not kept a secret about my liking for Papa Roach's stuff. No matter what you might think of this band, you gotta admit that they were successful, and still are, for a reason. After finally ditching their Metamorphosis era, Papa Roach decides to finally not skip around genres and instead focus on Alt Metal and somehow making an even worse album from before with some very cheesy and outdated electronics filling the hollow voids in their music. Falling In Reverse if they were good.
The Connection is Papa Roach's best album. Why? Well, it improves everything that was great about the mid 2000s and dials it up to 11. While it's the usual alt metal and hard rock, it's also a mixture of electronic rock at times. If you couldn't tell by the album cover. The production is especially really good for 2012. You do feel like the skeleton on the album cover listening to this album.
