Besides the purposely annoying vocals of a pleading coward. There's also a question that runs through my mind and that is what side is Larry Verne on? The side of the indigenous people who are defending themselves and their land. Or the side of Custer the man sent to try and exterminate a race of people? My race no less. A question that would overshadow the song if it wasn't for how terrible the vocals are.
