Fans who ate up 2005's All That We Needed are sure to love this album as well. And if Plain White T's are lucky, it just might be enough to finally snag them some of the TRL success that many of their Chicago peers have already been enjoying.

Obviously, with a little more consistency and a healthy dose of subtlety, the T’s can still go on to conquer the airwaves-whenever they do finally put it all together.

DIY
Power chords, lyrics laden with angst, and the kind of musical sensibilities that are all too common on the soundtracks of big-budget no-brainer American teen movies.

Drowned in Sound
Perhaps I’m just too old to understand the allure but, as one slice of college rock-schlock sloops limply into another, it’s questionable whether we need the Plain White T’s’ stateside tripe at a time when our own generic batch of jingle-merchants are hovering smugly around the chart’s upper echelons.

Gigwise
In the end it’s probably best off letting the band explain it in their own words, as the song goes, ‘Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don’t like you.’

Alright look… I know this album is just kinda basic but idc. I love it. Like I get it.. it’s basic yk but like UGHHH. I keep coming back to it. Idk why. I just like genuinely enjoy the album. It’s overhated imo…

Bought this album when I was 7 off the strength of "Hey There Delilah", and hearing "Our Time Now" on iCarly. This is probably just my nostalgia talking, but honestly this is a solid pop punk/"mall emo" album all the way through.
