It’s an unfairly overlooked gem that demonstrates just how talented he truly was.
If it weren't for the fact that the fifth song was terribly bland, I'd say it was a very solid jazz project at the time. This kind of jazz sometimes grows on me over time and is very encouraging, whereas when I listen to this style of jazz, it really gives me the vibe of musicals or some old film music, and it's cool. totally cool, interesting avant-jazz album from mr. scatman. i was more into the weirder, like "The Misfit" and "Angels Fight", but overall really fun!
