The Jackson 5 were a force to be reckoned with. Not only were they storming the charts with powerhouse singles such as "ABC" and "The Love You Save", but they were all kids! Led by Munchkin Michael, his infectious stage presence and charming personality for being just 11 years old helped win over the hearts of listeners all over. He could sing, dance, he did it all. Better than their debut album, just better bangers on this


Six months after their debut album, this follow-up repeated the formula, with less success, of combining versions of other Motown stars’ hits, such as Stevie Wonder and the Miracles, with songs written for the Jacksons by the creative team, the ‘Corporation’, of which Berry Gordy was a quarter. Of the latter, the two standout hits were ‘ABC’, which dislodged the Beatles’ ‘Let it Be’ from number 1, and opening track ‘The Love You Save’.
