It’s a scattered patchwork, undoubtedly a wild selection of many, many strange strands to Panda Bear’s work, but it hints that ‘Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper’ might be Lennox’s most expansive, ambitious album to date.
I mean, I think y'all were tripping, this is really good. Certainly different from everything he did this far, but that's kind of why I appreciate "Mr Noah", for Panda Bear, it's a left turn, even if it still fits the same genre "boxes". There's a more thought here on finding catchier pockets and more effects in his voice than usual but it kind of worked for me.
